HexSweep: Minesweeper Sphere

Privacy Policy

Effective July 25, 2026

HexSweep is an offline-first game. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It has no advertising, analytics, tracking, accounts, or custom server connection.

Who operates HexSweep

HexSweep: Minesweeper Sphere is developed and operated under the studio name Orbital Tessera Games. This policy describes the current iOS version of the app.

Information stored on your device

HexSweep stores the following information locally so the game can function:

  • Current and saved game state, including board recipes, mines, clues, flags, reveals, status, and active play time.
  • Game preferences such as theme, background, sound, haptics, and tutorial state.
  • Local statistics, mode history, and compatible historical board-pack progress.
  • Daily Challenge attempts, results, streak information, and replay eligibility.
  • Random game and attempt identifiers used to prevent duplicate local records.

Collection and sharing

The app does not send this information to Orbital Tessera Games or any third party. It does not contain analytics, advertising SDKs, gameplay telemetry, social login, cloud synchronization, or an enabled Game Center integration. Replay codes are generated locally and contain deterministic game recipe data rather than a name, account, location, or record of board actions. You decide whether to share them.

Device storage and backups

Local files are stored inside the app's protected iOS sandbox, and preferences are stored using Apple's on-device preferences system. The app itself does not transmit this data. Apple device backups, if enabled, are controlled by Apple and your device or account settings and are governed by Apple's privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

HexSweep retains local information for restoration and progress until it is replaced through normal gameplay or the app is deleted. Deleting HexSweep from your device removes its local app data. Any separate device backup is managed through Apple's backup settings.

Children's privacy

HexSweep does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other player because it does not collect personal information from the app.

Security

HexSweep relies on the iOS app sandbox and file-protection mechanisms to protect its local files. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, but the app minimizes risk by keeping gameplay data on the device and not operating a remote data service.

Policy changes

This policy will be updated before HexSweep adds a feature that materially changes its data practices, such as advertising, analytics, online accounts, or an enabled leaderboard service. The effective date above identifies the current version.

Privacy questions

For privacy questions, use the verified developer contact information displayed on HexSweep's App Store product page. Because HexSweep has no server-side account or database, the developer cannot remotely view, retrieve, or delete information held only inside your installation.
